Inspire: To encourage other women to share their personal stories as part of their pathway to recovery in a safe and supportive community.
Educate: To provide research-based information about gambling problems and related mental health issues such as depression in the Black community.

This symposium will thoroughly examine public health frameworks, prevention strategies, and the influence of social determinants on problem gambling. Attendees will gain insight into the diverse treatment landscape for problem gambling, as well as identify populations most susceptible to its effects and effective prevention strategies. Attendees will unravel the intricate relationship between problem gambling and public health, contributing to the advancement of healthier communities through informed action.
