Major Programs

The National Problem Gambling Helpline

The National Problem Gambling Helpline (1-800-GAMBLER) serves as a single national access point to local resources and referrals.

National Conference on Gambling Addiction and Responsible Gambling

The National Conference on Gambling Addiction and Responsible Gambling annually brings together over 600 local, national and international experts in problem gambling and responsible gambling to educate and inform a diverse group of public health, prevention, treatment, advocacy, recovery, research, regulatory and gambling industry professionals.

National Problem Gambling Awareness Month

Problem Gambling Awareness Month (PGAM), held annually in March is a grassroots public awareness campaign to increase public awareness of problem gambling and the availability of prevention, treatment and recovery services.

Gift Responsibly Campaign

Throughout November and December, participating organizations will work to educate communities about the dangers of gifting lottery tickets to children, raise awareness about the risks of youth gambling and promote responsible gambling practices for those of legal age who choose to gamble.
