This event will focus on:
– Risk factors and treatment approaches for sports betting clients
– The scope of online gambling in Pennsylvania, and the impact that it’s having in terms of participation and development of problematic behaviors
– Financial counseling and how it can assist clients experiencing financial issues
– What help and resources are available in Pennsylvania

To commemorate Problem Gambling Awareness Month, tables with information on problem gambling awareness, screening, and treatment services in Nebraska will be in the Nebraska State Capitol Rotunda all week.
Join us at the 1st Annual Problem Gambling Prevention Conference, which will feature a diverse range of speakers, interactive workshops, and engaging discussions. Discover innovative strategies, evidence-based practices, and community resources that promote help, hope, and healing for individuals affected by problem gambling. Gain valuable knowledge to effectively support those struggling with gambling-related issues. Network with like-minded individuals, share experiences, and collaborate on initiatives that can make a real difference.
The Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP), the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), the Council on Compulsive Gambling of Pennsylvania (CCGP), and the Pennsylvania Lottery will host a Problem Gambling Awareness Month informational table at the Pennsylvania State University – Harrisburg Campus (Olmstead Building) on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 10 AM – 1 PM (EST). The group will be providing opportunities for individuals to receive information on available problem gambling resources.
PG 101 covers the basics about The Problem Gambling Help Network of West Virginia. Learn about the signs/symptoms of problem gambling, along with similarities and differences to other addictions.

Join the Arkansas Problem Gambling Council for its Annual Symposium. This year’s Theme ” The Price of Recovery” will provide – up to 12 CEUs for clinicians, counselors, peers and the general public to aid in prevention, treatment services and intervention resources with mental health & gambling addiction/financial literacy . April 18th-19th, 2024 at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
