This webinar frames evaluation as an iterative, adaptive practice rather than a rigid sequence, emphasizing flexibility through the principle of “start anywhere, follow it everywhere.”
This session will examine key steps, including defining the scope of evaluation, forming teams, selecting appropriate designs, and aligning measurement strategies with program objectives. Effective gambling harm prevention thrives when campuses and community partners work together with a shared purpose. While collaboration with higher education can be shaped by structural, cultural, and language differences, these partnerships also present meaningful opportunities for collective impact. This session invites community prevention professionals to explore how to engage collaboratively with college systems and student subcultures (e.g., athletics, fraternity and sorority life).
Participants will examine both shared goals and distinct approaches to prevention, building a mutual understanding that strengthens partnership efforts. Through real-world examples and interactive discussion, participants will develop practical, actionable approaches to fostering sustainable, impactful campus–community partnerships.
