Growing a Problem Gambling Peer Support Program

Sunrise Community for Recovery and Wellness, in collaboration with the NC Problem Gambling Program, has pioneered a first of its kind problem gambling peer support program. Over the past year, we have embarked on a remarkable journey marked by both triumphs and obstacles. This presentation will delve into our significant accomplishments and the challenges we’ve faced. Our objective is to share the insights we’ve gained, encouraging other regions to adopt problem gambling peer support models. Furthermore, we aspire to establish a strong framework that can serve as a blueprint for other organizations aiming to develop similar programs.
