The National Conference on Gambling Addiction and Responsible Gambling is the oldest and largest annual national conference in its field. With top-notch national and international experts as speakers, as well as those who work on local and state levels, the conference is a unique resource, providing detailed, in-depth knowledge and cross-training opportunities.
The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) will host a forum on September 11, 2025 to provide updates on the National Problem Gambling Helpline Modernization Project and gather feedback from key stakeholders. This forum will offer a comprehensive overview of the project’s progress, highlighting successes, addressing challenges, and outlining the next steps.
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and provide suggestions to help shape the next phase of the helpline’s modernization, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of individuals and communities impacted by gambling harm, while also supporting the efforts of engaged partners.

This evidence-based basic training is designed to help counselors, peer support specialists, and others build an understanding of gambling disorder. Included in the training: 4 days of training, slides and reference lists, resources and workbook for counselors, 12 consultation sessions, and an exam prep class
This listing is for Day 1 only. The 4 days of training will be October 17 and 24, and November 14 and 21.
