Several questions remain in establishing evidence-based practices for the treatment of problem gambling. Central to these questions is determining what constitutes treatment efficacy along with identifying how outcomes should be measured. Additionally, could there be predictors of positive outcomes, which if identified, would allow clinicians to adapt interventions to improve outcomes? Coming from organizations that have provided specific treatment services for problem gamblers for over 25 years, LSS Gambler’s Choice of ND, Vanguard/ Project Turnabout and Crossroads Residential Aftercare, the presenters will share their experience in working with individuals and families to improve positive outcomes.
