Heather Chapman, PhD, ICGC-II, BACC; Michael Buzzelli; Scott Anderson; Stacey Frohnapfel-Hasson

As availability of gambling has expanded substantially in recent years, Ohio has created an innovative program with 2 goals: 1) an appropriately trained workforce to meet the demand for those in need of treatment for problem gambling, and 2) expanding the workforce skillset in training, supervision and program development for gambling disorder.  This session will highlight our support network’s keen awareness of the nuances and treatment needs for those struggling with gambling disorder demonstrated through advanced case discussion.  The audience will be invited to participate, creating a lively discussion of the important elements of evidenced based treatment for gambling disorder.
