Diversity in Leadership Conference Scholarship Program

The application is now closed.  Applicants will be notified of scholarship award status no later than Monday, May 16.

 

Scholarships will be awarded for one of the following:

  • Digital Symposium (online, 12pm – 4pm ET, June 8-9, 2022)
  • Main Conference Registration (Boston, MA, July 21-22, 2022)
  • Main Conference Registration + travel and lodging stipend of $500 (Boston, MA, July 21-22, 2022)

The sessions will provide wide-ranging education on many topics with presentations from nationally and internationally-known experts on cutting-edge topics in both problem gambling (PG) and responsible gambling (RG), including treatment, recovery, prevention, community, military,  sports and responsible gambling.

Applications will be evaluated by members of NCPG’s DEI Committee based on the following criteria:

  1. Applicant self-identifies as a member of a racial or ethnic minority community.
  2. Demonstrated applicant need as reflected in the essay.
  3. Interest in problem gambling or responsible gambling issues as reflected in the essay.

This scholarship is open to the public, you do not need to be an NCPG Member to apply. NCPG directors, officers, staff, and DEI Committee members or their family members are not eligible to apply for or receive a scholarship. Major donors and their employees and family members are also ineligible.

The Conference will follow the City of Boston’s public health guidelines and requirements regarding COVID-19 and the rules regarding vaccination and masking for meetings like the Conference that are current at the time of the event.
