2023 Submission Guidelines & Selection Criteria

Apply to Present at the National Conference on Gambling Addiction & Responsible Gambling 2023

It is a pleasure to invite you to submit a presentation or poster for the 2023 National Conference on Gambling Addiction & Responsible Gambling hosted by the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG). The conference brings together local, national, and international experts in responsible gambling and problem gambling. This year’s conference theme is Capital Ideas!  

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2022

Submission content guidelines:

The National Council on Problem Gambling expects the information that you share at the conference is for the benefit of attendee education and learning. Conference presentations are not an appropriate forum for product sales pitches or demonstrations. Sponsorship and promotional opportunities to maximize exposure for vendors of problem gambling and responsible gambling services are available, contact Barbara Rollins at barbarar@ncpgambling.org.  

Selection Criteria:

  • General importance and relevance to the fields of problem gambling and responsible gambling.
  • Innovations in the fields of problem gambling and responsible gambling.
  • Inclusion of evidence-based information and strategies.
  • Popular appeal to potential conference attendees.
  • Special considerations will be given to submissions that address diversity, equity and inclusivity.

Conference Registration for Presenters: 

  • All Lead Presenters will receive complimentary registration from NCPG for the event in which they are presenting: Digital Symposium, Pre-Conference, Main Conference, OR Post-Conference.
  • All presenters, co-presenters, and panelists are required to register for the conference.
  • If Lead Presenters wish to take part in the remainder of the conference and/or any conference events, they must complete and pay for that registration on their own.
  • Co-Presenters will not be given complimentary registration to any part of the conference or conference events.
  • Lead Presenters and Co-Presenters are expected to cover their own travel, accommodation, expenses and arrangements.
