Diversity in Leadership Conference Scholarship

The Diversity in Leadership Conference Scholarships are designed to recognize individuals who identify as a member of a historically marginalized community and have demonstrated exemplary promise as future leaders in the problem gambling and responsible gambling fields.

Reinforcing Resilience Conference Scholarship

The Reinforcing Resilience Conference Scholarships are designed to recognize individuals who identify as Native American / Indigenous and have demonstrated exemplary promise as future leaders in the problem gambling and responsible gambling fields.

Scholarships are open to the public. You do not need to be an NCPG Member to apply. NCPG directors, officers, staff, and DEI Committee members or their family members are not eligible to apply for or receive a scholarship. Major donors to NCPG and their employees and family members are also ineligible.

Diversity in Leadership Conference Scholarship

The Diversity in Leadership Conference Scholarships are designed to recognize individuals who identify as a member of a historically marginalized community and have demonstrated exemplary promise as future leaders in the problem gambling and responsible gambling fields.

Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  1. Applicant self-identifies as a member of a historically marginalized community.
  2. Demonstrated applicant need as reflected in the essay.
  3. Demonstrated leadership potential as reflected in the essay.
  4. Interest in problem gambling or responsible gambling issues as reflected in the essay.

Scholarships will be awarded for one of the following:

  • Digital Symposium Registration (online, June 14-15, 2023)
  • Main Conference Registration (Washington, DC, July 27-28, 2023)
  • Main Conference Registration + travel and lodging stipend of $500 (Washington, DC, July 27-28, 2023)
  • Travel and lodging stipend of $500 – Available for NCPG Conference Lead Presenters who have already received complimentary main conference registration (Washington, DC, July 27-28, 2023)
