Join us for an exclusive 60-minute webinar about the Gift Responsibly Campaign, which was formerly known as the Holiday Lottery Campaign. In previous years lotteries around the world joined the public awareness initiative from the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) and the International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and Hih-Risk Behaviors at McGill University that discourages giving children lottery tickets as gifts, because underage exposure to gambling activity increases the risk of developing problem gambling behavior as they grow older.
The presenters are John Norton, NCPG Communications Manager; Lynette Gilbeau, Research Coordinator at International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High-Risk Behaviors at McGill University; Krystal Smith, Oregon Lottery Program Manager, Responsible & Problem Gambling; and Townley Cheek, North Carolina Education Lottery Corporate Social Responsibly Manager. They will explain the campaign’s history, how and why the campaign is changing, provide a peek at the campaign’s new toolkit, and discuss strategies for how lotteries can effectively tailor their awareness campaign to their target audiences.
Webinar series sponsored by MGM Resorts International.
Free to NCPG Members; $59 for non-members.
