The CT Council on Problem Gambling’s Conference will explore the ever-changing field of problem gambling, highlighting emerging trends and best practices pertaining to gambling & gaming. Sessions will focus on prevention, treatment, and recovery. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about new technologies currently being used to assist those struggling with gambling related harm as well as programs to educate the industry around recognizing problem gambling. Attendees will also learn innovative clinical interventions to use in treatment of those with gambling problems as well as working with affected family systems. Responsible gambling efforts in CT will be shared along with data from an adult survey of CT residents on attitudes and behaviors around gambling and help seeking. Attendees will also hear stories of those with lived experience.
