Detailed instructions are below, but tech-savvy users may not need them all.
Please note: using a current internet browser is important. Internet Explorer is NOT recommended. Chrome is preferred. Safari and Firefox will probably work without problems but be ready to try Chrome if not – you can get a free downloaded application for both PC and Mac platforms.
To find out if you are a current paid member of NCPG, you will need to sign into your account at https://ncpgambling.site-ym.com/. You can also access this site from our main website www.ncpgambling.org – click on ‘Log in’ in the upper right corner of any page.
Once you are on https://ncpgambling.site-ym.com/, log in using the fields on the right with your personal username and password for this site. If you don’t have your username or password, please click the “Forgot your password?” link at the log in area. You should then receive an email in your inbox with instructions on how to set your username and/or password – be sure to look in your spam folder as it may get put there by your email system. Open the email, click on the link, and follow the instructions.
Once you are logged in, you should be on the ‘My Profile’ page. If not, click on “My Profile” at the top of the page and review, add or edit any information. [Please note that the Membership History at the bottom of this page is archived information, this is not where you will find your current expiration date.]
If your Membership is up for renewal, you will see a message saying your membership has expired, along with a link to Securely renew your membership now ». Follow the instructions to renew your Membership.
If you do not see a message about renewing your membership, near the top of your screen Click on the drop-down arrow next to Welcome and [your name]. In the left-hand menu Choose “Account + Settings” then click on “Payments and History.”
Across the top of the Payments and History window, choose Membership, there you will see the type of membership you have, whether it is current, and its expiration date. Please make a note of the date through which your Membership is current. You will be asked for this when submitting your nomination.
If it says, “Guest Lite Membership” you do not have a paid NCPG membership. You will need to purchase an Individual Membership. You may do so by clicking Securely renew your membership now ». (If you think your account should have an Affiliate or Organizational Membership, or one of their associated peer or co-members, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org).
• On the next screen, under membership information, click the arrow next to Guest Lite Membership and choose one of the membership options under Individual.
• Then follow the steps to submit your payment and you will receive a membership confirmation email – make a note of the type and expiration date.
• And don’t forget to write down your username and password in a secure location, if you haven’t already!
Once you have your current membership category and expiration date, you may start your Board or Awards nomination process.
