Date: November 28, 2017 Topic: Youth Gambling/Holiday Responsible Gaming Campaign Description: Join this webinar to learn about NCPG’s Lottery Holiday Responsible Gaming campaign, which is now in its 10th year. Keith will review the research on youth gambling and lottery play that underlies the need for this effort, discuss the legal exemption that allows minors to play lottery, highlight innovative campaign ads and materials developed by lotteries over the past 10 years and update members on the participation to date.

Date: October 24, 2017 Topic: Current Issues in Responsible Gaming Description: In this webinar, Keith Whyte will review NCPG’s responsible gaming programs and policies. This includes the NCPG/NASPL Responsible Gaming Verification program; our Internet Responsible Gambling Standards and the associated Compliance Assessment Program; and NCPG’s consumer protection guidelines for Daily Fantasy and social casino. Keith will also discuss recent developments in the field, including AGA’s updated Code of Conduct, MGM Mirage’s GameSense program and the Green Gaming Predictive Tool. Date: June 27, 3017 Topic: Gambling & Gambling Problems in the Military Description: NCPG has long been focused on gambling problems amongst military personnel and veterans. Monsignor Dunne’s experiences as an Army Chaplain in WWII and Korea and Dr. Custer’s work in the Veterans Administration system were a big part of their motivation to found NCPG. Throughout the years, many NCPG leaders have been involved with the VA, and particularly the Brecksville VAMC, home of the oldest residential treatment program for gamblers. This webinar will focus on research and policy developments over the past decade, including recent NCPG legislative advocacy that led to the ground-breaking GAO report on Gambling Addition in the Military and ongoing efforts in the current Congress. Keith will review the latest drafts of our legislation and discuss how members can help at the grassroots level.
