NOTICE: Change in National Gambling Counselor Certification Criteria

As of April 3, 2007 the International Gambling Counselor Certification Board (IGCCB) began requiring a Bachelors Degree or equivalent to meet the behavioral education requirement for certification. This ends and replaces the previous requirement of 300 hours of education from a behavioral health field.

All applications for gambling counselor certification received after midnight of April 3, 2007, are now subject to the new Bachelors Degree or equivalent requirements.
